This place is rock solid. Staff are friendly, helpful, knowledgeable, and kind. We didn't get deep into the food menu, but the drinks were incredible. Clear sangria was a standout along with several other drinks. Oysters were fresh and very tasty, however I would say the calamari was a touch heavy on the breading for my liking, but not bad overall. I'd recommend this spot for a beautiful view with attentive staff and superb cocktails.
Went before it got too cold and was able to enjoy the rooftop view. The food is impeccable —the steak had such a nice smoky aroma and was perfectly medium-well, as I asked. The food did take a bit to arrive at our table but I suspect their kitchen is downstairs. The calamari was a great appetizer and the alcoholic “horchata” drink was strong but yummy ;) I’m usually not a big dessert person but the crème brûler was delicious to share.
This rooftop restaurant takes place on the 8th floor of a building near oldport of Montreal.
As most places do in high season this place requires a reservation in advance.
Let's talk about the ambience, when you enter the building you'll take the elevator to the 8th floor and enter this rooftop Instagram worthy picture area, yes, they've made a place for you just to take pictures with the city and let me tell you the pictures come out gorgeous especially at night with all the buildings and lights.
After the picture area, you'll take a staircase to the actual restaurant area, you'll be surrounded by small lamps over your head which makes the rooftop bright and romantic. This restaurant is perfect for date nights or a cute girls night out.
Super nice waiters and waitresses helped us with the menu items and choosing our drinks.
We had beef tartare for starters, the portion was enough for two people as a starter, the marinade was delicious and peppery. I mean look at the picture, yum!
For the main food we ordered Steak and Shrimp Tacos, both dishes had more than enough portions filling the plates. The steak was definitely my favourite with all the fries on the side and the exquisite wine sauce it tasted perfect "chef's kiss".
The shrimp taco had deep-fried shrimp and a ton of veggies dressing it with a soft taco bread, I would have preferred some kind of hot, spicy sauce or spice to accompany the tacos, it would have taken it to another level.
Overall it was a delicious and eye-catching experience, I would definitely recommend it to anyone with a love of food or terraces and great ambience, or if you are an Instagram addict like me, visit this place and add gorgeous pictures to your Instagram collection.
